Explainer videos are used to educate their audience, sell products, or deliver a strong, inspirational message. I animated an explainer video about Pentel Energel pens, a product near and dear to my heart. Energel pens are targeted towards left-handed people, and as a member of that select 10% of the world's population, I wanted to help other lefties by promoting my favorite pen.
I've been using Pentel pens exclusively for 8 years. I admit this probably wasn't the best idea since I was VERY bad at geometry in 7th grade. Nevertheless Energel pens have helped me to take countless pages of notes over my academic career, and I've continued to use them to this day for sketches (though ironically not the sketches for this project),class notes, and doodles.
